This was taken at Fort Desoto SP in February. I should have dropped the ISO down on this one. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

I really like the pose in this one, Jim. I can see why you say you should have dropped the ISO.

    Jim:

Well exposed and composed, with nice display of the aigrettes. Like the soft blue BG and interesting pose.

    Yes to lower ISO.

    Cheers

Very nice exposure and detail on this one. I know it's tough with some of the light that we get in FL, but you've managed it very well!

Hi Jim, love the pose, and loose dangling feathers. You certainly nailed the exposure, and I like the waters reflection on the plumage.

Great pose and breeding plumage feathers!! Well exposed and sharp. Does the image need a bit of CCW rotation?

The breeding plumage is what makes this one unique, as well as the pose. With the 40D, ISO 400 or below would have been preferable, but I don't see where this image is suffering b/c of it.

Beautiful shot Jim and equally beautiful pose you captured. Might consider a slight CW rotation, the ripples in the water look slightly off. Very elegant looking pose in breeding plumage, congrats!
