Before August expires I thought I would post this image , in the spirit of Daniel's August Theme : Birds in inclement weather.

Image created in the northern Kruger National Park , past December.

A Yellow-billed Oxpecker perched on the back of an African Buffalo.

Very nice close shot of this bird. I love the buffalo with the tiny water drops clinging to each hair. Also, good background and sharp bird.

I like this very much! Those water droplets are whizbang! If you have any more room on the right I would add it. As is, I find things just a little bit tight on that side?

I like the perch, sharpness and HA. I would go with a looser crop if this is not full frame. Well done Arno.

This image is really over the top. Just love the setting with the wet feathers!!! There are SO many details there and things to love about this. You have a great angle on the bird. My only concern is that the eye looks either a bit soft or odd. Since I am not familiar with this species, not sure. I like this comp and feel a looser comp would work as well.
