    Taken a month or so ago. Photo is cropped horizontal from a vertical. Manual focus. tripod, 5DIII, 100mm/2.8 macro at f/4, 1/200,ISO400.
    Both spider and prey are small and I was trying to capture habitat and fine spider web as well.

    Hi Dave. This is a cool behavior shot! Excellent sharpness within your DOF, nice lighting on your subjects, and I like the comp. The bit of sharp web on the left is also a plus. You might try toning down the brightest parts of the background just a bit. Several of the legs seem to be showing a double image at the tips - I'm not sure what's going on there as it seems to be too much movement at 1/200 given the sharpness elsewhere? Overall, this is very well done!

    I like this and it is a good example on how sometimes, you don't need to get the eyes. I like the composition and also thay lttle bit of sharp web on the left.
