    Thought I'd keep the robin theme going...this is an adult male Hooded Robin captured in north-east Victoria.

    Canon 20D, 500mm L IS + 1.4x TC, 1/640, f/5.6, ISO 200, AV -1/3
    PS CS - crop, cloned out a spider web strand, sh-h, levels, curves, usm.

    Basic COMP good. EXP good. On the other hand, the bird is quite ratty, the light is rather harsh, and the head should be lined up with the body angle...

    A good capture Dean of this not so common Robin. Very well exposed for a B&W bird with excellent detail in blacks and whites. Pleasing composition with lovely soft BG.

    Quite an overwhelming perch. As noted, well exposed and god detail. Head angle could be improved.

    Nice image Dean. I think though that if you had the head more in line with the body then the beak would be sharp as well. The LHS of the perch is a bit distracting.

    Nice shot Dean - these are uncommon around so haven't managed a shot of one yet.
