    This juvenile Snowy Egret was photographed at Myakka River State Park on a special morning with good friends. Cropped for composition.

    Canon 1D3, Canon 400DO & 1.4TC
    F8, 1/1250sec, ISO 400, manual mode
    Feisol tripod, Mongoose head

    Marina:

    Lovely colors, soft light with gentle ripples reflecting onto whites, good eye contact/head angle.

    Very nice. I could see just a tiny sliver off the top, but just personal taste.

    Hi Marina,

    This is beautiful capture love the settings here..Exposure is spot on, sharp and nice HA...I would leave some more space at bottom.

    The water color does it for me with this one. I like the HA and ruffled up feathers on the Snowy though as well.

    Wonderful exposure on the whites, lots of detail, and love that golden background.
    Head angle and eye contact great and like the puffed up neck feathers :-)

    Beauriful Shot,Marina.Lovely BG and Light.The bird contrasts very well with the BG.Details of the bird is exposed well.

    There's not much more beautiful than a white bird against such a warm rich background. Stunning image, Marina. I love it. Perfect exposure, comp, and love the standing up feathers on the head and that sinuous neck.

    Magnificent image.Wonderful lights and background.Love the pose of bird with absolutely superb details in whites and reflection of ripples on it.

    This is just so beautiful,Marina.The pose ,HA ,puffed up neck and crest feathers ,together with the rich , beautiful bg make this such a striking image.I too agree with Randy about the slight sliver off the top.
