Loving the feel of this one, Morkel. The PP is as unique as the pose, which is hysterical. Your comp works well, and I love seeing some of the teeth. A great subject for a B&W.

    Morkel.

The typical Wild Dog waking up pose, what fabulous subjects they are. You know what is coming next what does it look like in colour?

Morkel - well deserved and I like the treatment. POV works well as does the comp though I am curious about the very bottom. Is that blur natural or applied in pp? It looks too smooth.

It's just the sand in front of me that was a lot closer than the focal plane, Rachel.

Hi Morkel, nice behaviour capture, love the arched back/stretched legs and the toned B/W (or Duo) works well in this instance. Having viewed a couple of times, the sand at the foot of the image jars a little for me, as there is no tone or detail, just a colour, so like one of your previous images with minor space between subject and trim you could crop it out, but optional. A small CW rotation also helps IMHO.

    Hi Morkel,
nice pose of the dog, well positioned in the frame, i think very good B/W conversion.
I have 2 nits , i go with Rachel and Steve about the FG ,and would like to ask to lighten the darker parts of the BG to get more separation between the dog and the BG ? I do not know if it is working, just a thought.

    Cheers Andreas

Andreas, I feel there is good separation between dog and BG?
