Out of the Box Image of the Week for the week ending May 18th, 2012: Dan Brown - Mocking bird flight diplay, hand-merged
Congratulations Dan!!!
I shot several of these flight display sequences today and try as I might, I couldn't make photomerge produce a stitch. So, I layered them up, erased down to each bird, cropped, flattened and replaced the sky bg (that was all messy) with a nice blue color that sort of matches the original sky. Whew! He jumped up on the left and then fluttered backward and then down on the right. The birds are probably closer together than they occured but I wanted to produce a smaller canvas. Hope this isn't too unnatural looking? C&C welcome.
