    Default Another Malabar Whistling-Thrush.

    Taken couple weeks back. Cropped and sharpened.
    One diagonal OOF black strip on LUC is removed, Perch is darkened. Background is distant rocks.NR applied to BG.

    ISO: 2000, 1/500 at 6.3, Spot metering, Exposure bias: +1.3 stop.
    White balance: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 100-400.

    I like this though it doesnt "pop" on my screen,may just be flat light. looks like a bird with great potential

    Nice exposure and colors and I really like your perch. Your composition works well and I really like the bird's pose.

    Love the blue/black combo of the plumage, which you 've exposed very nicely. Pretty neat how this fella is clutching a little bump in the perch. Good BG, and the rock looks good too. Too bad the subject turned its head away a bit too much (IMO). The comp works generally well, but I could see a version with the bird a bit more to the left. Well done!
