    Jim,

    I love the bird and the perch. The fluffy feathers on the bird soften the usually hard lines of the goldfinch. And the bird is sharp. I would try to reduce the noise on the background a little.

    Sweet garden set up Jim and awesome subject. Such vibrant plumage.

    I'd also try and run another round of NR on the BG and maybe reduce the contrast just a tad.

    Hi Jim, well placed in the frame, and I like the softer yellows on the goldfinch. The perch has lots of character, and NR already mentioned.

    Great tight shot. Good comp, IQ and details. Contrast and noise reduction will make a nice shot even better. Nice perch too...

    Like the image and the image design. A tiny crop from the left would be in order. For the repost I ran Blur/Surface Blur to clean up the BKGR and added density to the light YELLOWs with a 22% Linear Burn on a layer with a Hide-All masks painted out as needed.
