    Beautiful Joel! Love the detail, color, and pose. My only suggestions are to do some noise reduction on the background and tone down the highlights on the perch. Lovely bird - that tiny patch of red gorget is just the bomb.

    Very smart Joel. The juxtaposition with the chair really indicates the size of the tiny bird. The red indicates a young male.

    Joel, that tiny ruby dot really makes this one for me. I don't have ruby throats here, but we had them when I was growing up in CT. I seem to remember more ruby on them. Your techs look good to me.

    Joel...impressive detail and sharpness for a HH 700 mm shot. Way to go! You might try lightening the eye just a tad with a screen blending mode and mask
