This is another photo from my Olympus OM-D. I used Oil Paint or Topaz Clean (can't remember which) at a low level and then I used HDR Efex 2 in overlay mode at about 50% opacity and thought it was a little too dark and cnntrasty so I used Curves and levels adjustment layers with masking. I also darkened the background by airbrushing over it to tone down all the light spots and other flowers.

Beautiful composition, Judy. I love the clean, sharp look with OOF bg. Wonderful colors and further enhanced with you use of filters. Excellent processing!

A lovely image Judy. The square crop works well with the bloom.

Judy, this looks 3-dimensional to me - nice use of filtering. Colors are great

Judy, I like the processing and think that the Crepe Myrtle looks like it is popping off the page! Very nice!!

Very nice image and application, Judy.

    Like the detail and depth.

We have one in our front yard and I am still trying to get a good image of it. I have tried a few, but still need to get the lighting right. Right now it is out of blumes. But spring will be here again.
