    Taken a while back at Guelph Lake.
    I went back last night but the mud flat dried out almost entirely and most of the shorebirds were gone.
    Self critique: HA could be better.

    Beautiful light and colors, I agree a bit more look back would improve it, but very attractive as is.

    Beautiful Image! The light is perfect and IQ is awesome. I like the HA and the mat of veg it is standing in. Thats a keeper. Good Job.

    Karl, to me the HA is perfect for this look-back pose. I like the nice view of the molting patterns on the back. Good call offering a vertical composition. You could smooth out the few bright BG highlights almost touch the subject's shoulder area. Very nice!
