    Default 6400 frontal Owl View

    This guy was like a model, he/she actually turned a couple of times so I got both front and back photos.I could have photographed all day, since I was across a creek, it was not threatened a bit.
    Pushed the limits with a few, here is one, although the IQ goes down a bit, I would still print this one. The same size crop as the first one for comparison.

    1/640, f6.3, ISO 6400, 600MM, HH, D800

    I would print this as well. The owl is a wonderful subject, set off by that beautiful setting. You did well pushing the limits of your gear.

    Another stunning image. Love the pose and perch. I also like the fact that we can see part of its huge toe.

    great pose and a nice look. I would back off on sharpening a bit and reduce the magenta cast

    Sweet image! Beautiful natural setting!! Using a tripod could have allowed you to shoot in lower shutter speed and lower ISO for better IQ.

    Lighting face selectively could help and yes to fixing the color cast.
