    Default Fences

I was in downtown Gainesville last week and found a fence in the middle of town so I figured I'd use it for the theme. I used a very shallow depth of field (f/4) and used Topaz B&W Hand Tinted Chiffon to give it an aged effect since I think the horses look like an old-timey fence.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Wonderful composition, Cheryl. I love that fence... combined with shallow depth of field, it works very well. I also like the old look to it... just in two mind to see a bit of more contrast. That's just me Excellent processing.

I love the comp, your processing, and the horse head fence is wonderful! I've never seen one like it.

Cheryl, I like the way the horses are lined up and help to draw you into the image. Nicely seen.

Ditto above comments on comp. like the old look. The railing and brickwork, etc.....thought it was Paris! my first thought when looking at it, though, agrees with Indranil. While I like the antiqued look, I think just a touch more sat or would make it better on my monitor.

Wonderful find! I like the angle you chose showing the horse heads going along the fence top. Nice look done in processing. Wish the umbrella hadn't been there, but....

Very nice image and application, Cheryl.

Like the aging effect you used.
