    I was lucky enough to find this pair posing nicely in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania 4th July 2012

    Some sticks removed.

    A great species , and to get two in the frame is a bonus. You had a great opportunity , and took full advantage. Nice going. Might just lighten up the eyes a bit.

    Thanks everybody for your encouraging comments, I had already removed quite a few sticks from the BG,clean perches for Hornbills are unfortunately a rarity

    Hi Ken, another species from you that I havent seen before. Good poses from both, and interesting colour on the different bills of both sexes. Just love that BG, and wish the perches werent that busy, but thats the African bush for you.

    Lovely pair you captured here, and I find the perch works well. None of the branches are really detracting from either bird and the tails are both visible. I would be happy with this one, esp if they are difficult to find.
