    From last week at Nickerson. Cropped to vertical. Light strip in the background is a distant jetty.

    1/3200, f 5.6, ISO800
    Canon 1Dmk3, 500 f4 + 1.4tc + tripod

    I like the fish and eye contact plus sharp details, nice exposure for both whites and blacks. The bank angle could be slightly better for a full dorsal view and iridescence.

    Grace:

    Excellent angle in frame, exposure, prey item, nice dorsal view.

    I might consider using the clone stamp to very slightly soften the transition of the brown into the darker water below, to match the gentle merge with the sky.
