Would have wished for a better HA.
I quite like the mottled under wing feathers and the formidable outstretched claws.

    Arno:

I like the colors, comp, details, BG.

Yes about the birds angle in the frame.

In a perfect world, would prefer the far wing to not be so beat up.

    Well captured.

    Cheers

Beautiful sharpness, IQ, and BG, Arno. I too wish for a better angle. But still a stunning image. I like your comp choice.

Detail and light is beautiful , as is the great action pose captured. May be my monitor , but it seems a bit flat overall. Perhaps a slight bump in contrast would help???

Hi Arno, love the light, exposure and colours on the eagle, and I quite like the different layers of feathers. Typical GC BG, and agree, a better HA would have been first prize.

Great catching up yesterday, and looking forward to your results with your 1DX.

Great detail and colours, Arno. The quality of light and colour tones of the BGs. at this location really are exceptional, maybe one day I might make it! A very powerful image, and that 'armament' is really impressive.

Your light and BG are really killer here, Arno. The colors of the near wing and those talons are a big plus. I am okay with the eagle facing slightly away but would have liked more from the far wing.
