    Very nice capture and composition, love the colors and details on your subject also like that nice mellow green background...the perch adds the perfect touch...:) Would like to have seen your bird just rotate his head a wee bit towards you...:cool:

    The light is my compliant here, a bit harsh. Great duckweed bg, good head angle and cine compo. Sharpness and detail are also good. The whites look a bit hot, but with the light you had, it's a given.

    Very nice detail in this one, Dave. I like the pose. Fabs mentioned the bright sunlight, which is always a challenge.

    Nice subject and background. I guess harsh light is the issue.

    Hid Dave Agree with Fabs Harsh light was your worst enemy Look at the shadow from the tree .. sun was high in the sky !!!
