    Default On a Mission

Image captured on recent visit to Giant's Castle hide in Drakensberg South Africa. We were fortunate to have a few sightings of this beautiful Verreaux's Eagle.

looks a bit noisy to me but dont care about that

I can just imagine all the shutter clicks going off in the hide when this stunning raptor appeared!
I love the clear view of the foot in mid stride. Great BG.
A bit more of a head turn towards you would have been amazing but still a wonderful shot.
    Agree re: BG noise.

Fantastic pose and what an amazing bird! Would crop a bit less which will help with the noise.

    Dudley:

Tremendous pose, agree with Gail about the head turn, and Ofer about a looser crop.

If mine, I would try a version with the large rock in the LLC burned in just a bit to lower its luminosity.

    Cheers

Great image Dudley. I like the marching pose, intent look and IQ. Some good suggestions above to make this image even greater.
