    D4, 300/2.8, 1.4 TC, ISO 1000, f4, 1/3200

    I found this to be the hardest Alcid to photograph in flight. Only by watching their flight patterns as they approached the cliffs and positioning myself in the right spot was I able to get some keepers. BG is the Bering sea

    Great pose and excellent exposure control. I can't see much fine detail though - I guess it is a big crop?
