    Hi Jan. I like that you planned and got a nice composition in camera, although I might have moved the bird up ever so slightly in the frame. Perch, pose, and BG are all good. Fine detail in the bird is somewhat coarse, and there's a peculiar shadow under the bird's beak.

    Nice clean image. A bit too much neg space for me. Wish for a tighter crop.

    nice pose light and BG. would go for a tighter crop and agree fine detail is a bit lacking

    That is quite the vertical pose this fella gave you! Nice grass perch, and good BG. I too would go for a tighter crop (top and right) and I would cosider removing the extra grass blade if your processing ethics allow you to. Odd shadow below the bill mentioned...
