This willet was displaying dominant behavior towards another willet. I like the flared tail,

Hi Gail, super low angle, and you have captured a good pose and HA. Good sharp detail on the Willet, and I like the layered coloured BG. Just a personal thing, but I would take a bit off the top.

I like the exposure, HA, pose and BG. I tried a version with a tighter crop and removed the darker OOF wide band above your signature at chest level and like it. Well done Gail.

I really like this pose, Gail. Sort of regal looking. Great low angle of course, and a super background. I'd like to see a little trimmed off the top too. Overall neat image.

what I like about this one is the fanned tail while standing, as if she is wearing a skirt! sweet

A rather plain bird that you have captured wonderfully with the pose and almost painterly background. I might reduce the opacity of your signature as it is causing my eye to drift to that corner.

Colors are truly lovely, and I like the pose and fanned tile. I would take a little off the top.

Lovely pose, sharp, nice detail, low angle and eye contact. Agree regarding some off the top.

    Gail,
Excellent pose, very nice low angle.Love the fanned tail feathers and shadow of wing tips on it.Beautiful water colors and background.
As usual great details.Everybody is asking you to go for your favorite ( mine too) panorama-crop composition.

Thank you all for your insight.
I have cropped some off the top and right, toned down my signature and really liked the idea of minimizing the band of sand in front of the willet so incorporated it in my repost.
Hope this addresses all the issues!

Teriffic shot. Excellent low angle, I really like the lighting, and love the background. The fanned tail just puts this shot over the top. Repost is much better.
    Very well done.
