    What a terrific portrait.
    The talons curved around the branch are well shown.
    I like the IQ and the feathers have alovely silky feel to them.
    Nice BG with the clouds.

    Hi Jim, I like the alert pose, good DOF, and the feather detail is well defined. This angle does show off the talons nicely, and the clouds add interest to the sky. I would maybe try a version with lightening the area around the eye.

    The sky is quite a powerful element of this photo albeit subtle. Love the talons clasped to the perch.

    Nice IQ. The winswept head feathers look very good!! Great clutch on the perch byt he subject. I agree the sky with clouds is a great touch. I'd have preferred the face better lit though.

    WoW!!! Stunning image. Just love the pose especially the how the talons grab the perch, excellent details, exposed very well, and I really like the clouds as the background.
