Thought I better place this in here as it may be seen to be overdone in the regular avian section. A couple of Noisy Miner birds, common here and a bit of a pest birds times

I've applied extra strong noise reduction to the entire image and added a gaussian blur vignette for a soft, somewhat dreamy feel. I rather think it gives it all a nice painterly look, hope you like it. ...thanks for looking

Phil, I like it a lot! The gaussian blur works well with the image. They look very intent on something - probably mischief If I were being very, very picky I might want to remove the green on the bottom edge under the bird on the right. All the rest of the green on the edges looks fine but that one piece looks out of place.

Hi Phil, yes it does indeed give a painterly look to the image. Very handsome birds regardless of their social position. I am also a big fan of pigeons, so no need to apologize! I like the treatment and the fact that the eyes are the sharpest feature in the image. Very nice, thanks for posting here.

    Phil,

I like the composition and the sharp details. The softened background adds nicely. If I was to be very picky maybe a sliver more room on top- but that is a personal choice. Excellent work!!
