Hi Jeff, I see that you are getting some interesting opportunities on the island. I like the hint of bird and the story told by the image. Was it cold there?

Kerry,
The weather is on the warm side varying from 70 - 90 degrees with some fog and rain. The overcast sky produces good light for the most part. The colony is amazing over 50,000 pairs and several chicks. They leave for the warmer weather (many to the souther US states) in October and when not raising chicks spend life on the open ocean. The behavior is really interesting but to see them fish is truly amazing. Hitting the water up to 70mph and at depths over 40 feet though most of the time that depth is not needed. It is work, hiking to the mountain every day is challenging with the rain and bugs reminds us what nature is all about - love it!
