    Walking up the desolate runway at Volcan Lagoons , Chiriqui Panama I sighted this lovely WM; I really like these birds, singing away
    I got a few frames. BG is a bit cluttered ()

    1/640 HH f5.6 100-400 on 40D @ 400 ISO800

    NR to BG only, cropped blank space from left.

    Hi Richard,

    Beautiful bird and capture. Love the sharpness, head turn, perch and details. BG looks fine to me. I would consider adding a tiny catch light.

    I like the look-back pose. Great perch, and that very cluttered background looks good too. On my monitor the image looks dark and with a bluish cast. Lightening it and giving it a warmer WB will surely help. I needs a reflection or catchlight...

    Magnificent image.I like the repost with catch light.
