Taken in last the week. It was raining and cloudy, in-between for few minutes light was there and I took opportunity to take some snaps of very common bird in our area.
Cropped for composition and sharpened. BG is freshly growing crop.

    Canon: 550D, 100-400.
F: 5.6, 1/500, ISO: 320, evaluating metering, White balance: Auto. HH.
    Exposure bias: +0.7 stop.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are much appreciated.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi Satish,

Nice capture. Wet & cloudy weather brought the colors out nicely. Eye is really killer. Love the details, BG and sharpness. Wish for slightly better head angle.

Lovely colors, great exposure and detail. Yes, a little more head turn would have been nice, but a handsome portrait as is.

This head angle works for me b/c you can really see all of the details in the head. The BG is nice but wish for less space on top.

Wonderful detail Satish especially that ever so clear eye.he looks like he has a ring of LED lights in there hahaha. Liking the dof on this too and a nicely colored backdrop to contrast well with the bird.

We have these birds here as well on the eastern seaboard that were introduced a long time ago and sadly have become a pest bird...please come and take them back hahahaha

Excellent details, techs, and colours. What a wicked eye, very nice! I too would have preferred a better HA here.

Hi Satish, lovely soft light which in turn has brought out the colours nicely - good blacks on the head. I also like the yellow of the beak, and around the eye. Another vote for taking some off the top.

beautiful portrait of this species. They are now well established in southern Florida here in the US but they seem so out of place! Very nice to see them in their native land. Great detail and clean background here.

PS - the head angle is absolutely perfect. The head angle crits on this forum are getting totally crazy. Pure profile is classic and shows off the bird well, and is perfectly acceptable. Well done.
