    Default Juvenile Oystercatcher

    Took this on my first visit to NB.

    D300s , 300mm f2.8 + TC14e ,1/5000s , F/4 , ISO-200 & Manual Exp.This is 60% of the original frame.Some USM and Beach cleaning done.

    Hi Sanjeev, I like the light and exposure, and overall, the IQ is great. I do like the feeding pose, together with the surrounding sandy beach BG. I would maybe take a bit off the top, and add to the bottom. Moving to your left may have helped with a slightly better angle of capture, but still great as is.

    I agree that pointing your lens down, or going for an even lower angle if possible, would have been great. Neat feeding pose, and the bill fully in the food item is a big plus here. Nice clean beach!

    Agree with Stuart, and liking very much the interaction with the shell, the dof is rather nice too.
