    Nikon D7000 w/Nikkor f/4.5-5.6 80-400mm vr lens at 400mm, hand held in a skiff
    ISO 800; f/6.3, 1/2000 sec; matrix metering +0.67
    PP: Noise reduction; PS CS6 crop, levels and sharpen

    These Macaws were photographed in the Peruvian Amazon region. I like both the birds and their textured nest.

    Norm:

    I like the opposing poses, the odd symmetry of the holes, well exposed.

    I would consider a version with 1/3 of the free space cropped off the top.

    I am seeing some color banding in the blue background. Faint purple bands.
