Shot of African Fish Eagle "Othello" just about to land on the Falconers glove in display at HCT. I was lucky with the weather today as the forecast wasn't promising but the sun did manage to break through.
Taken from the tiered seating at the 2.00pm "Valley of the Eagles" display.
When the sun is out and the contrast is good I have found the focus on the MKIII to be far superior to my MKIIN.
I was able to acheive headon shots of the Peregrine Falcon against busy backgrounds at low level, and topside shots as he swept past, again at low level. It is certainly my camera of choice for these sort of shots
I will be posting some more pictures this week to illustrate the sort of captures the camera was able to acheive

I'm glad that you have a "good" MkIII.......I've held off for now. Great action with this one coming into the glove. Those talons are awesome.....nothing I'd want to tangle with for sure!! If there was anything that I'd wish for....it would be a catchlight in Othello's eye. Well done.
