    Default Dark-chanting Goshawk

This was clicked at Serengeti with the 7D and 100-400 L from a safari vehicle, handheld. The angle is a bit steep but I was happy with the sighting. Pl click on the image to go to Flickr page of the image, it seems sharp there.

Nice looking bird. The steep shooting angle really hurts this image IMHO.

Hi Sanjeev, Good feather detail and good DOF. I like the look back pose, and good to see a hint of cloud in the sky BG. Agree the shooting angle is a bit high, and I would try and lighten the head.

Agree regarding the steep angle, but liking the powder blue sky backdrop and nicely isolated from the surrounds, impressive looking bird

Nice bird and look back pose. agree that angle is too steep. Liked the details and exposure.
