    Mike:

    Nice look back, calling pose. Sharp, well exposed.

    I would consider toning down the grass intersecting with the lower mandible, and probably blend in the blue area on far left.

    It is often fun to go back through old images for hidden gems.

    It is amazing what you can miss, the curse of digital is far too many images!
    I agree with Randy particularly on the grass.

    Nice score getting one on the ground at eye level, nice exposure holding good detail in the darker feathers, great clear eye too.
