Default Waterfall in the Karwendel Area (Austria)

This waterfall was in the Eng valley in Austria (reachable by car only from Germany). A really beautiful place.

My goal was to use the stream to lead the viewer into the image to the waterfall.

    EOS 7D, EF-S 10-22 @16mm, Tripod, MLU, Self Timer, ISO 100, 0.3 sec, f22.

The EF-S10-22 is my workaround as long as I don't have a full frame (not yet sure if I should get a 1DX, a 5D III or wait for a body with more pixels like the D800 has). It works very well.

LR 4 work: Clarity:+26, Vibrance +20, Shadows +68. Sharpening for screen output and added a little bit with USM in CS4.

    Markus,

Nicely processed with good shadow detail. I would sharpen this some more as the whole image looks soft I am guessing it was good and sharp at exposure, just needs some tweaking in USM.

Framing was correct and the flow acts well as a leading line.

    Nice work.

Here is one that should be sharper. I hope that "Saving for the web" in PS didn't ruin it. It looks sharper on my monitor.
