Vivaldo your comment made me scurry back to check the dimensions they are 40 x 34 not square but nearly, I do not mind squarish images but perhaps a little more on the right would assist in removing this perception.
Ken, awesome shooting angle and details. loved the alert pose nad the grasses. excellent.
I think some more room on right will help as the egret is directly looking out of the frame that side. If the egret had been looking a bit more towards you, sqaurish would have worked better, IMO. Nevertheless, a very fine image.

I did something really stupid processing this (what's new) and cropped it before saving. I doubt that I will be able to process it that well again, but I will give it a go.
