I could surely post an image a day for the next year from this one day spent with the bears.
Truly a day I and those with me will never forget! I am greatly looking forward to returning next year.
Bears Rule! Off to host my 60th bear workshop next month.

See you where there is light, or at the computer,

Very powerful image; I can hear the sound of the fight. How do you like the 1DX?

Very cool Chas - you're making me jealous.

Are you at Silver Salmon Creek with this?

I have not been to Silver Salmon Creek for quite a few years.
Silver Salmon is tidal dependent, with the salmon only coming in with the ebb and flow of the tide. It is not IMO a good place to shoot bears fishing for salmon.
It is however very good for clamming, mating, and possible cubs in the meadows.

What Ken said. Please keep posting these images. A good example of quality imaging, respect for the environment and the animal while getting the image. Love these bears Chas.
