    Default Whitetail Deer (FL)

I was at a local State Park and had no luck with the birds. On my way out, I saw this gal grazing not too far away from my car. The sun was setting and the bg colors were really poppin'. Took a dozen or so and got her to look back on just one. Here it is:

    Miguel,

I like the bright BG and great DOF on the dear. The over-shoulder look a nice departure from the norm.

Though I do like the bushes and flowers to the right, I would like to see this as a vertical as well.

Watch out for virtual feet. Though the hooves are obscured in the grass, a bit more room on the bottom would have been nice.

Robert hit the highlights nicely. The virtual feet need more room. Over the shoulder, nice bright colors. I personally like the room on the right side as is. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Miguel, I would agree on the virtual legs and the look, over the shoulder, but personally I do find it a bit bright. By dropping the Saturation say 15 and also the Exposure some degrees everything has a bit more depth and the colour looks less vivid, just my take.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll take a look at the original to see if I have any more room on the bottom to spare. I'll also take a look at a vertical crop as well as one with less saturated colors. Thanks again for the comments!
