    Female yellow-bellied sapsucker, very windy morning in Pennsylvania. I used 1/1600 at 5.6, 100-400mm IS Canon Lens and Canon 40D camera. We don't usually see these birds around my house, just during migration, so this was a treat. Cropped to remove distracting branches.

    I like it but feel that the re-posted crop is much, much stronger. Wonderful head angle. The bird's face could use a tad more sharpening.
