Captured this MG at the "new" North Beach of Ft. DeSoto Park. Tropical Storm Debby has transformed NB. If you haven't been there since you're in for a surprise. At low tide I believe it may be even better for avian photography.
For this image I was very low in the water, a bit too low to be truthful. Luckily it wasn't disastrously low. :)

Upon reflection I should have chosen an image with the eye closed completely. It'd have been a better representation of the mood I was trying to capture. I'll have to go through my files to see what I have.

Stunning. The layercakes really work here. As a great fan of bird and color, I'm a fan of the mood you created here. It would work also with a closed eye, yes, but that would change the mood. Not for the worse, mind you, but it would feel different. Such color!

Aside from possibly being better with more eye contact or closed eye.the transition of colors in this are wonderful and such satin smooth water.....liking it a lot

Very nice shot. I really like the light and colors are very lovely. I enjoy the different perspective.
    Well done.
