    Taken last year in the garden at Cielito Sur, Cerro Punta, Western Panama

    shy birds, not often see in the open like this, I have been going through files from that trip, hundreds to sort lol

    Interesting bird I've not head of before, sharp where it counts and nice clear eye, extra nice detail on the breast feathers, I myself like the natural habitat composition....OK....so a more side on pose would of been nicer, but still excellent....darn birds !

    Hi Phil

    I have previously posted a side pic, last year sometime I have more lol sat for days waiting for birds to pop out of the forest margin
    very happy times indeed, I need to go back there. Glen B posted a really nice shot of one of these recently so I thought Id look one up as most birds in UK have drowned lol

    I like the habitat, sharpness, details and eye contact. I have seen this bird while hiking through the forest but never out in the open. Well done Richard!
