    Default One wet RWBB

This female RWBB was quite the show to see. She would dive in and out of the water perch herself and dry herself over and over! Here she stopped for just long enough for a few clicks :D

    7D. 300/2.8IS, 1.4x, 1/1000, ISO800.

    Thanks for looking!

I like the background and the pose of the bird. Good sharp image.

Beautiful on all counts. Love the plumage, the BKGR, and the dropped wing. My only wish is for a bit more head turn towards you. This might be a young male....

    Laurie, thanks so much!

Art, thanks so much for stopping by. I may indeed have another image with its head turned. Let me have a look and I'll repost in a new thread! You say it may be a young male? I took this shot in early June, so I wouldn't expect young ones thant early?

    Let me know!

Wonderful shot. Love the ruffled up feathers, excellent details, and wonderful background.

Thanks. It would seem too early for a fledged bird that far north.
