Took this shot of an Oystercatcher at Nickerson Beach towards the end of June. The mother was trying to break open the Oyster Shell as the Juvi was watching nearby.
Really like the colors! Not much you could have done about the harsh light, and you positioned yourself well with respect to the sun. I would have liked to see this shot from a lower angle, possibly with the camera at eye level. Great capture!
Sharp with a perfect exposure. The light looks pretty nice to me. The oyster is a clam. Some clean-up work on the sand and elsewhere would improve this. The biggest problem is that the bird's head is turned well away from us.

Exposure is good and colors are lovely. Like how the bird is moving toward the surf with his dinner. I would have liked to see this from a lower angle. Beach looks fine to me as is, but there appear to be some smudge marks on the right side of your frame.
