    This is the "dull" cousin of the African Jacana, but to my mind just as interesting.

    Taken from drifting boat in Lake Manze channel, Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania, 7th July 2012

    Hi Ken, good low angle from your boat, and the Jacana is more than happy in his typical surroundings. I like the light on the Jacana, but am finding the foliage very bright and maybe a touch over saturated. It may have those colours, but toning them down wont harm the image. Maybe a bit of CCW rotation too.

    Nice bird, habitat, and look back head turn. Sharp. Nice image design and bird. The single bright leave above the bird's head is a hurter....

    I see what you mean about the bright leaf, I'll take a look at toning it down a bit
