    Hi

These are ever popular so as I have started going through more files from my Panama trip early last year I came across this one
going to be tight for some I reckon but I like it.

Flat on the beach Playa Cacique, Contadora, Pearl Islands - -what a great morning that was.

    ISO 200 F 5.6 1/800 FL 400 on 100-400 and 40D Ev -1/3

I agree it is tight, but if you like it that way then that is what matters. Nice low angle, and I like the blue and tan layers, as well as the colours of the subject. Face looks soft though, likely from subject motuion blur with their frantic feeding. I also suspect you either added canvas or cloned out something at right as there is evidence of clone marks. Is the catchlight added?

    Hi Daniel

No added canvas - took out line of blurred rocks on beach

catchlite not added is in original!

mb , they run like sewing machines and never seem to stop

Hi Richard, excellent low angle with a good feeding pose. Lovely pastel colours, and Im wondering why you didnt use a higher ISO to get more ss, as I find the head soft too.

    Hi Stuart

Low ISO - dont normally use 200 ever, at that time I was having "tired of noise issue" .I also didnt really clock that rapid head movement, thinking that 1/800 at 400mm was good enough, you have so little time as you know.

I can only echo what the others have said. Really like the low perspective and the colours work well.

Nice low POV but the harsh light and motion blur really hurt this image.
    Nice blues and tans.
I've said it before but we need to get you out of bed earlier!!
