This is my first post in the Avian form. Since joining Bird photographers in 2010, I've posted in the Eager to learn forum. Many thanks to the moderators of ETL for constructive critiques and encouragement. Nikon D7000, Nikkor 600mm, f5.6, 1/2500, iso 400, aperature priority, matrix, tripod, mid Am, clear, distance to subjects 21 meters. Minor PP in PSCS5 with smart sharpening. I struggled a bit with the crop. C & C appreciated.

Nice action shot of the two gulls. Very sharp low angle. I'm not sure what your options are in a crop but this works. Maybe less on left and more on right for the rule of thirds.

Sweet action shot, good first post, imagine if the water at the left was mirrored to the right!
    crop works for me.

Neat action, love the bubbling water. Techs look good, and the details are there. The water looks like it was rather smooth below...it would have been great to see more of that reflection. As posted I agree with less at left.

    Welcome to "Avian"!!

Very nice moment, it is a pitty that you don't have the whole reflection though

Repost with suggested crop and I like it. The remainder of the reflection is not as nice as that included in the image. Thanks to all for for the looks and critiques.

Gary, nice action as mentioned, the water looks great, I prefer the OP for the crop.
