    7D, 1/1250, F/5.6, ISO:200, 500mm.

    Saw this chap the first night on our Spring trip to Florida. He did not come back in the week we were there, but I was happy to get a few clicks of the shutter while I had a chance. Thanks for looking and appreciate the comments.

    Always a treat to see one of these guys...and especially photograph one! Nice low angle and subject angle. I like the semi-submerged foot. Nice white on black motif. Perhaps a bit dark as posted, but perhaps the light was low like this at time of capture.

    Excellent control of exposure and great sharpness. If it was taken at Fort DeSoto then she is a long time aquantance of mine and many other lucky people..

    Great work with the exposure of the whites on the dark BG.
    it looks like it could use a small rotation.

    I like the white on the dark BG.
    I see a need for a bit of CW rotation.
    I like the raised foot. You did a good job with the exposure on the whites as well,
