Hi to all and thanks a lot for the lot of comments to my last image of a great bustard Here is another image from the same day, very early in the morning when the sun was rising and the bustard plumage was shinning with a beautiful red tone. In the middle of the still dark steppe, this male was like a shinning ruby. Hope you like this one too and thanks for your critics.

Beautiful light, pose and colors. Could you have gone a bit higher to be able to see the legs? 14 hours in a hide, I would call that determination. :)

Good comp and exposure and a nice angle. I would have the same question as Axel but you answered it.

But 14 hours, whew. The result was worth it.

I love it, the OOF foreground makes the bird look as if he were coming out of a dream :)

Yes, I love it maybe better than the previous one. I don't have problem by the invisible legs.
    Love the bg colors.

No way to get a higher point of view to include the legs into the frame because the blind didn´t allowed it. This was the first male in the scene and he entered my field of vision very quietly and surrounded of a certain kind of mistery due to the fact that I couldn´t see the legs. The bird was walking from the left to the right but without a single movement of the tail or the neck so the bird seemed almost a kind of robot or mechanical engine! He repeated the same thing several times going in both directions

This is really nicely done. Because of the nice foreground I don't mind the missing feet too much.

You had some spectacular opps and made some spectacular images. Would I like to see a bit more of the legs? Yes. Still, this is a remarkably beautiful creation. perfect head angle and the light and the subject are stunning.
