Gail, I love the sweet simplicity here. To my eye our bird is a touch too contrasty, but otherwise I like what I see...

This is a very nice Image Gail,

I too love clean simplistic images of nature. They concentrate the viewers eyes to the details of the subject.

The BG trees really make for a beautiful water color. Great exposure, contrast and detail. The concerned calling shot is nice too. Perfect comp. Great Job!!

Sweet shot Gail. Gorgeous background and open beak make this for me.

What a reflection, and nice colours in the water, Gail.

Hi Gail, lovely pose and HA with the open bill, and overall nice and sharp. No one else has mentioned it, but I find the yellow legs too centered. I would move him back to the left ROT's.

Very pretty image, Gail. Love the clean, green water, the shooting angle and the pose. The reflection is very nice as well.
I see Stu's point about moving the bird to the left, but I can see why you'd want to retain the concentric circles in the water.
    Nicely done!

Beautiful water, and very nice pose.
Maybe a inch to the left, I would not crop the water circle.

Very sweet image! Great calling pose. I think it needs some CCW rotation. Not sure about centred composition.

excellent calling pose and details. it would be better to move the bird to the left (it's too centered now)

Very pretty shot. On my monitor it seems the bird's body is a bit too bright. Not much, but I'd bring that down a bit.
