    I'd like to have got a bit lower to capture an image of this marbled godwit, but it was not possible. And I resisted the temptation to "clean up" the background. I liked the purposeful-looking stride of this guy. Though my histogram shows no blown whites, the post now looks a little suspicious to me in that regard -- perhaps I should have darkened the image?

    It does look bright here as well. The steep angle also hurts this one.

    Fabulous image. I like the composition.Love the walking pose of the bird and nice details in colors.
    Excellent water with nice blues in it and trail behind him.
