Hello, I have not see a lot of Reddish Egret shots here lately so I thought I would share one from this past Spring from Little Estero. Always appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks a ton for looking.

Love the wings up and it's nice to see him with some color. Comp works well and his leucistic markings make it unique.

Excellent image.I like the beautiful placement of bird in the frame, the pose with wings up with nice details.
Love the nice gray colors of BG complimenting to bird, fine feathers coming out of tail, water trail and his expression.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Great pose and comp. Timing is perfect. The bird almost looks as if he needs a little black added to the neutrals, but that's probably due to the leucistic plumage as Marina noted.

Hi Gary. Lovely image. I really like the angle of the bird towards us, those leucistic feathers adding interest as Marina points out, and the sense that he's almost toppling over in his concentration (or about to strike?). I might give just a tad more space below if you have it, to allow room for the virtual legs and then a little bit. But also fine as is.

Hi Gary, I like the fishing pose with the raised wings. Overall sharp, and I agree to add a bit more below, and maybe take a touch off the top.

    Gary:

I love the flow of the lines in this image, very nice indeed.

    Sharp, well exposed.

If you add space below, I could see a minor crop from the top to move the frame diagonal closer to the line of wing and neck.

    I like it!

    Cheers
