Got this in my last visit in Israel in April. Saw this bird form the car while driving along the Dead Sea. Stopped the car and had a closer look then decided to come the next morning. The bird was in the same place and after about an hour of chasing let me get close enough for a few shots in nice light.
Taken as vertical nearly full frame.

Hi Ofer, excellent light, and good choice of aperture to create perfect DOF. I do like the feather detail, tack sharp, and the colours look spot on. Love the complimentary BG.

Must be fairly difficult to manouvre an 800mm inside a car.

Awesome colours and light, as well as the perch and BG. Techs spot on. Worth the chase indeed. I'd prefer the subject a little lower in the frame.

Great species...Never seen one before. Great detail and BG. Seems a little bright and I find it tight on top and too much below. Nice one Ofer!

Super shot, Ofer! Superb detail, light, pose, and colors. I'd take off some space at the bottom and move the bird a little to the right.

    Hi Ofer,

Everything is just perfect. I really liked it very much. Another vote for having bird slightly lower in frame.

Gorgeous light, details, bg and pose. The DOF is perfect. I'd crop from the left to where the perch ends.
Just fantastic IQ. Your images make me itch for an 800mm ;)

I love this one, Ofer. Super sharpness, complimentary bg, great eye contact. I can see other possible comps as suggested above, but I do like it as presented. Lovely.

Sensational, Ofer. Such great complementary BG color, and adore those colors and details in the bird. Comp works fine for me. Beautiful image.

It appears as though your hard work paid off. Lovely details and colors. Great perch and BG. Comp works very well as is, but I can see other choices as well. What a great head turn he gave you!
